Stats Report - 9.5 mos.
Hens went to the doctor last week for his 9 month check up. Here are the results...
Weight: 18 lbs. 8 oz.
Height: 28 inches
Number of Teeth: 5
Likes: Finger Foods (cheese, bananas, grapes, sweet potato chunks, chicken/nuggets, Bunny Love), spaghetti, crawling, looking out the front window, chasing cats, tearing up magazines, trying to scale the lamp, scaling the side of his crib, chewing on anything that gets in the way of his mouth, listening to stories, bathtime, socializing, mibbies (little burp cloths that have become his blankets), Boowa and Kwala (big time), cuddling with his cats, waving
Dislikes: Car seats, getting nails clipped, waking up all alone in his bed, not getting his way, "no," flu shots & finger pokes, wiping his nose, phlegm
Trademark: Hugs where he wraps his arms around your head and squeezes. Sometimes he even throws in a toothy kiss.
We have shifted from the phase of being tired as new parents from lack of sleep to being tired parents of a little boy who moves around all the time! Nothing is safe in his path. We are amazed at how mobile he has become and a little shocked at the peril that comes with it - the falls, consumption of anything on the floor, destruction of property, and attempts to unbabyproof. Yowsah. He will keep us on our toes from this day forward!
We are very much looking forward to his first Thanksgiving next week. He is sure to like turkey and all that goes with it! Gobble Gobble.
