Our Second Summer Begins

Fun things are happening around here. We are packing to move within the next two weeks. We haven't packed too much, but we're working on it. Packing to move without a new destination is not fun. But we are lucky to be able to camp out at Scott and Julie's for the interim.

Henry is old enough for free cookies at the grocery store. That is fun and buys me a good 10 minutes of calm in the store. I remember that being a highlight for the Kuzma children as young'uns. I'm sure it was a highlight for our mom too.

As you can see, Henry is exploring yet another form of electronic entertainment. We're pretty sure 16 mo olds are not supposed to have ear buds, but it is pretty cute and he seems to love to control the way the sounds reaches his ears. Speaking of sound, Henry also has a new "playground" in the backyard. We got it for free from a random's yard. Don't worry, there was a sign that said free and it was pushed to the curb. He likes it a lot and his Grampa Rich attached a horn that is the piece de resistance for the neighbor kids. Our little neighbor boy who is 4 said "Hey, I'm squirting the sound out!" It was so adorable. We will most definitely miss the fact that we have neighbors Hens ages around here.

We've also taken our first summer trip to the zoo. We are members so if you want to get in free one day this summer, let us know. We're (almost) always up for a trip. You just may have to chase Henry around for awhile. He likes to play in the big water fountain near the new grizzly bears. He also likes to slam on the glass of the animals' homes. Yikes. We're trying to get Erin to go with us to Cascade Bay soon. Plllleeeaasssee?!
