You Asked For It

Here is a photo of me at 27 weeks pregnant, taken just today by my dad. It is a left-side profile; notice that my eye is closed because that is the one that closes in pictures. But yeah. That's me being pregnant in the picture. On Friday I will be at the 7th month point. I think that this is the transitional week into the 3rd trimester. Gulp.

Things are going well in the baby's room. Andy and Scott have 1 coat left to paint on the trim and then they will paint the walls. It has taken 3 coats of white paint to cover up that hideous green trim. I am so happy to not have to look at the old painting in that room for much longer. The paint is going to look fabulous when they are done. Still no updates on cribs, changing tables, or any other furniture.

The baby is doing well as far as we can tell. Its just hanging out, sleeping, and moving around from time to time. Allegedly she (two people had dreams it's a girl this week - Jordan was one of them) is going to grow 1/2 inch this week. Yowsah. She has a strong aversion to moving when anybody except me is paying attention. All grandparents and both aunts have been around this week and haven't gotten to feel or see anything. She is a stubborn one.

We went to the T-wolves last night with Erin and AJ. It was, perhaps, the worst game I've ever been to. They got smoked the entire game and we had to sit up in Row V of the upper-level, which is a departure from Andy's bosses' lower-level season tickets the last few years. We're hoping the baby at least enjoyed the ambiance of the game. Hopefully we'll get closer to the action next time.
